Capio Primary Care Hovshaga is a growing primary care clinic and an established healthcare provider in the Region of Kronoberg. We are located in Hovshaga Centre with easy access to good public transport. We are a wonderful team of approximately 40 employees – a strong and competent group with many years of experience in primary care, making a difference for our approximately 12,100 registered patients – today and throughout their lives.

We offer a wide range of services. In addition to our primary care clinic and various specialist clinics (diabetes, hypertension, asthma/COPD, incontinence, dementia/elderly care, and wound care), we also have Child Health Services (BVC), psychology services, and rehabilitation activities.

We are an academic primary care clinic, which means we have an increased focus on research and development. This, in turn, leads to higher healthcare quality and cutting-edge primary care!

We are now expanding our team with a District Nurse!

We are currently fully staffed across various professional groups and need reinforcement with a District Nurse who preferably has an interest in wound care or another specialty area.

Your tasks will be varied and include telephone advice, chat support, clinic work, specialist clinics, and assessment of acute patients. The work is largely independent, meaning you will be able to make your own assessments and decisions. On our unit, we work daily with joint assessments, where you, as a nurse, together with doctors and other professions, assess patients.

We are looking for you who are trained as a District Nurse and have a few years of experience, and who feel confident both in your professional role and as a person. You have a patient-focused approach to work and see the benefits of working in a team. Experience from primary care is meritorious.

You work carefully, are flexible, and can adapt both pace and work methods to the demands of the situation. We appreciate initiative and willingness to collaborate. As a person, you are clear, structured, and able to prioritize when needed. You have a great commitment and always strive for high quality in your work. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Certain on-call duties at our doctor-on-call center may be included.
